Find answers to common questions about our therapeutic programs.

What is the difference between traditional counseling and psilocybin therapy?

Traditional counseling involves ongoing conversations with a licensed mental health professional to explore thoughts, emotions, and behaviors over time using established therapeutic approaches. Psilocybin-assisted therapy, by contrast, is a structured process that includes dedicated preparation sessions, an in-person psilocybin medicine session at a licensed service center, and integration support to help process and apply insights afterward. At Bendable, preparation and integration are grounded in established therapeutic modalities, while the psilocybin session itself is non-directive—allowing clients to navigate their inner experience with autonomy while being safely supported. While both approaches aim to support healing and growth, counseling is typically talk-based and ongoing, whereas psilocybin-assisted therapy follows a guided, time-bound framework designed for deep experiential work and lasting change.

Where is Bendable Therapy currently available?

Counseling services are available to residents of Oregon. Psilocybin-assisted services are available to adults regardless of residency; however, all psilocybin sessions must take place in licensed service centers within Oregon in accordance with state law. Preparation and integration sessions may be offered virtually, allowing for greater flexibility and accessibility before and after the in-person experience.

How are psilocybin services regulated?

Psilocybin services in Oregon are regulated under Measure 109, a voter-approved initiative that established a legal framework for supervised psilocybin use. The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) oversees the program, setting standards for licensing, safety, training, and operations. This includes the licensing of service centers, facilitators, and product manufacturers, as well as strict guidelines for client screening, preparation, administration, and integration. All services must be provided in compliance with these regulations to ensure safety, consistency, and ethical care.

What makes Bendable Therapy different from other psilocybin programs in the state?

While Oregon’s Measure 109 created a legal pathway for psilocybin services, the baseline requirements for facilitators and programs are intentionally minimal—often resulting in shorter, less clinically supported experiences. Bendable Therapy goes far beyond those standards. Our programs are more comprehensive and intentionally designed, with extended preparation, in-depth support, and ongoing integration to meaningfully address mental health concerns. Every member of our facilitation team holds licensure in mental health, bringing a level of clinical expertise that ensures care is safe, personalized, and grounded in best practices. As an active research site, we continuously evaluate outcomes and integrate emerging findings into our work, resulting in care that is thoughtful, effective, and built for lasting impact.

What is the cost of your psilocybin program?

Our comprehensive individual program is $3,800 all-inclusive. This covers preparation, facilitation, integration, and all service center fees, as well as ongoing access to integration groups, resources, and continued support. We’ve designed our pricing to reflect a full continuum of care, ensuring you’re supported not just during your session, but throughout your entire healing process.
